The anticipation is immense, and there’s a fair deal of excitement when the early driver gets to go hands-on with their new car. It’s why you should look out for reviews that shine a light on the experience of driving your first car.
No matter what kind of car you buy, having the opportunity to test it out is always an enjoyable part of the buying process. Not all brands have excellent customer reviews — especially when you’re looking at older models. That’s where we come in! The first drives of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Mercedes-Benz SLK roadster have been published by The Telegraph, Auto Express, and Autocar. The reviews are all very positive, with all of them praising the cars’ handling. However, the reviewers would have liked more power from the engines.
One review from Autocar even states that ‘the SLK’s engine is not quite up to scratch,’ but it’s a lovely car to drive.
